Accessibility
This site is built for people who may find small text and fiddly buttons difficult. It aims to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Making the text bigger
Hold down Ctrl and press + to enlarge the page (on a Mac, hold Cmd and press +). Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to normal. The layout reflows properly, so nothing gets cut off.
What we have done
- Large default text of 18 pixels, which resizes cleanly up to 200% and beyond.
- Strong colour contrast throughout, well above the minimum required.
- Every part of the site works with a keyboard alone, with a clear visible outline showing where you are.
- Large buttons and links that are easy to tap on a phone or tablet.
- Proper headings and labels so screen readers can announce the page correctly.
- No flashing content, and animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
